EMGaTE is the East Midlands Gifted and Talented Regional partnership which offers further education, opportunities and workshops for students with a particular strength - this might be in an academic or artistic capacity. As part of the National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth (NAGTY), EMGaTE supports these students to improve their learning and develop personal plans to achieve better.
I was asked to join NAGTY by my school when I started there at age 11 (John Port) as I'm very good at Maths.
Anyone who knows my parents will be wondering how on earth that happened!
